Texas instruments [ti] india has developed a pair of 16-bit analogue-to-digital converters [adcs] in models ads8317 and ads8326. These analogue-to-digital converters provide 2 times better linearity than other conventional devices available in the market. The ads8317 and ads8326 analogue-to-digital converters are available with salient features like easy performance for portable, battery-powered applications including industrial data acquisition and portable medical instrumentation. These analogue-to-digital converters come with technical specifications like require 10 mw at 5v less power at 250 ksps operation and less than 4mw at 2.7v power dissipation at 200 ksps. When operating at lower data rates, the high-speed operation enables these analogue-to-digital converters to spend most of the time in a power-sown mode.
